Quarantine Concierge was launched in mid-2020 as one of the first official quarantine packages, just as quarantine requirements were starting to be put into place in Hong Kong. Immediately, we noticed there was a huge stigma against hotels accepting quarantine guests as it was labeled as “taboo”. Ovolo, being a Hong Kong company, wanted to do our fellow returning Hong Konger’s right by giving them a way to quarantine with dignity and also receive the usual great service they deserve. Throughout the past 18 months, the package has been slowly evolving into the success it is now, purely through guest feedback and experience.  

Now with Ovolo Central being added to the government-designated list of quarantine hotels, we are looking to further the quarantine experience. As this is our flagship hotel in Hong Kong and our more premium product, we’ve taken what was successful from Quarantine Concierge in Ovolo Southside, as well as all our learnings and feedback, and are developing an elevating Quarantine Concierge package called Xtra Spesh.
