Which Hotels can I loan this car?

There is only one PEUGEOT 408 Plug-In Hybrid available at the Ovolo Woolloomooloo, therefore guests will need to get in quick! First come, first serve.

How do I book this experience?

All guests who book at Ovolo Woolloomooloo will receive a pre-stay email with a link on how to book.

Is there a cost to use the PEUGEOT 408 Plug-In Hybrid vehicle?

Another great perk of staying with Ovolo! While there’s no cost to use the PEUGEOT 408 Plug-In Hybrid, please note that guests are responsible for any parking fines incurred. Additionally, all guests must sign an insurance document and will be liable for any excess fees in the unlikely event of vehicle is damaged during the hire period.

At what time is the car available for loan?

There are two time slots available daily; 8-12pm, 2-6pm. You can book your preferred slot in advance or on the day of your visit with our concierge team (Subject to availability)

Do I need to fill up the vehicle?

The car is Hybrid so uses both electric and petrol. As a benefit of staying with Ovolo Hotels, Ovolo will provide petrol and charge during your 4 hour electric escape. Please return the car within the 4-hour period to ensure a smooth transfer to the next driver. The car uses 1.5L of petrol per 100km.

What happens if I damage the car?

Drivers will be liable for any damages that occur during their hire period. There is a $5000 insurance excess that will be incurred if the vehicle is damaged while under your control.

What are the requirements of borrowing the vehicle?

You will need to be over the age of 18, provide a valid Australian driver’s license, sign an insurance waiver and agree to the terms and conditions provided by the team.

Can I bring my dog?

No unfortunately we are unable to allow dogs in the vehicle

Can I bring my baby/child?

Unfortunately we do not have baby seats or child restraints fitted to the vehicle so we do not permit children aged 7 or under to drive in the vehicle.

Do I need to pay for parking?

Yes if you choose to park in a paid parking location you will be required to cover any costs incurred.

What happens if I get a speeding fine or other driving infringement?

Any driving fines received while in the hirers possession during the 4-hour period will be passed on by Ovolo to the end user.

What do I need to do when I return the car?

Please ensure your belongings and rubbish is taken with you. Ovolo takes no responsibility for items left behind.

Terms and Conditions for Hotel Guest Use of PEUGEOT 408 Plug-In Hybrid

These terms and conditions govern the use of the hotel car by guests of Ovolo Hotel Woolloomooloo. By using the hotel car, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Use of Hotel Car:
    • The hotel car PEUGEOT 408 Plug-In Hybrid is available exclusively for Ovolo Woolloomooloo direct bookers (guests that booked through ovolohotels.com website or directly with the reservations team).
    • Offer is valid until August 31st, 2024.
    • Use of the hotel car is subject to availability and at the discretion of the Hotel.
    • Use of car is limited to a four-hour driving period.
  2. Responsibility of Guest:
    • As a guest using the hotel car, you are responsible for all fines, damages, or liabilities incurred during your use of the car.
    • You must possess a valid Australian driver's license and meet the minimum age requirement to drive in the jurisdiction where the Hotel is located.
    • You agree to operate the hotel car in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  3. Liability for Fines and Damages:
    • You are liable for any fines, penalties, or citations incurred during the use of the hotel car, including but not limited to cost of parking, parking violations, speeding tickets, and toll charges.
    • You are responsible for any damages caused to the hotel car during your use, including both exterior and interior damages. A $5000 vehicle excess will need to be paid by the guest in case of accident.
  4. Reporting of Incidents:
    • In the event of an accident, damage, or any other incident involving the hotel car, you must report it immediately to the Hotel staff.
    • Failure to report an incident may result in additional charges and may impact your ability to use the hotel car in the future.
  5. Prohibited Uses:
    • You may not use the hotel car for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to illegal drug transportation, or any other criminal activity.
    • Smoking, vaping, or consuming alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited inside the hotel car.
    • Pets are prohibited inside the hotel car.
    • No children under the age of 7 are permitted to drive in hotel car.
  6. Return of the Hotel Car:
    • The hotel car must be returned to the designated drop-off location at the agreed-upon time, with keys returned to the front desk.
  7. Indemnification:
    • By using the hotel car, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hotel, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the car.
  8. Modification and Termination:
    • The Hotel reserves the right to modify or terminate this agreement at any time without prior notice.
  9. Governing Law:
    • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  10. Entire Agreement:
    • This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Hotel and the guest regarding the use of the hotel car, and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
