Sydney Lyric Theatre has a total seating capacity of 1996, with variable capacity available at 1700, 1538 and 1384 seats.
The Stalls seating is located on the ground level (same level as stage) with an incline to the back of the auditorium. The front of the stalls offers prime viewing, close to the action. The Dress Circle on level 1 and Grand Circle on level 2 offer views overlooking the stage and auditorium. The Grand Circle Box Seats offers an obstructed view, so you don’t miss a thing!
Hearing Loop is available in Stalls seating only, and patrons should adjust their hearing aids to “T” for reception.
Sydney Lyric is located in the inner-city suburb of Pyrmont and is easily accessible via public transport. Travel by train to Central Station and jump on the light rail stopping at The Star with access to the Sydney Lyric Theatre via a lift. Alternatively, take the 389 bus to the Maritime Museum or the ferry stopping at Pyrmont Bay ferry stop, just minutes from the Sydney Lyric.
We recommend Harbourside Car Park, Wilsons Parking. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the theatre, with a special all day (not overnight) $13 parking rate for Sydney Lyric Theatre patrons. Parking tickets must be pre-booked to access the special rate via their website. Use codeword LYRIC when booking your Harbourside parking, and be sure not to select a period over 24 hours.
