Guess what? Restaurant Week isn’t over yet! From the 25th of July to the 27th of August, the edgy city of Hong Kong has opened its culinary doors to welcome residents and visitors from all over. Constantly evolving, Hong Kong’s food and beverage sector introduces a new eatery each month. Who said a trip to India or Italy had to be expensive? Not us! We have five lunch spot deals to satisfy not only your hunger but won’t break the bank either.

The Central district in Hong Kong houses a wide range of culinary adventures, from Italian specialities to Japanese delicacies; it has everything you would want. As foodies, we have selected restaurants with special menus and unbeatable prices that will delight your taste buds. Whether you eat on the side streets of Soho, at Michelin-star restaurants, or in shopping malls, rest assured that you will enter a culinary paradise where quality and value intertwine. Join us as we explore the lip-smacking lunch offers at Little Bao, Pici, VEDA, UMA NOTA, and Tokyo Lima.

1. VEDA | 2 Arbuthnot Road, Central, Hong Kong

One of our absolute faves is VEDA, which is perfect for our vegetarian enthusiasts with its entirely plant-based menu. At VEDA, North India meets South India through dishes like the flavourful Masala and aromatic Aloo Gobi. VEDA’s lunch deal caters to the fans of re-imagined Indian cuisine. With its commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, VEDA ensures that every bite bursts with flavour. During the week, you will get one starter, one dosa, two accompaniments, and complimentary coffee, teas, and masala Chai, all at the price of HKD$238 (yes, our mouths are watering too). Lucky for you, until the 27th of August for Restaurant Week, VEDA is offering their lunch set for HKD$198. Whether you are following a vegetarian diet or simply enjoy discovering new cuisines, a VEDA lunch is definitely worth the hype and the visit!

2. Little Bao | 1-3 Shin Hing Street, Central, Hong Kong

We would love to introduce you to the vibrant world of Little Bao, a touch of Hong Kong’s comfort food mixed with international techniques. Offering a fusion of Chinese and Western flavours, these delectable, pillowy bao buns won’t disappoint. During the lunch hours, Little Bao offers visitors a special menu featuring their full-flavored baos at an irresistible price. Fly solo with their ‘flying solo’ deal (HKD$158) including one large appetiser and one main. Otherwise, if you’re not alone, try ‘the happy 2-gether’ deal (HKD$356). In this deal, you can choose two small appetisers, Brussel sprouts, truffle fries, two baos, and two ice cream baos. From their mouth-watering Pork Belly Baos to their vegetarian-friendly sloppy Chans, you will leave the restaurant satisfied.

3. Pici | G/F, 24-26 Aberdeen Street, Soho, Central, Hong Kong

At HKD$195, you will be able to indulge in unlimited starters from soba noodles and pickled bamboo shoot salad to one main such as their half-roasted spring chicken or grilled seabass. With the option of accompanying your delightful meal with their signature cocktails, you can enjoy a taste of the tropics right in Central’s backyard.

5. Tokyo Lima | G/F, Car Po Commercial Building, 18-20 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong

This Izakaya, meaning Japan’s iconic drinking hotspot where everyone is embraced, is well-known for its blend of Peruvian spice with traditional Japanese flavours. During weekdays, Tokyo Lima presents two meal deals: the quickie at HKD$218 per person or the full experience at HKD$298 per person. With starters like the Niji Maki and various options of Tacu Tacu, this restaurant perfectly mirrors its ethos in the food they serve. With a menu that satisfies meat lovers, pescatarians, and even our veggie friends with different dish styles, their twist on Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian kick brings excitement with every bite.
