Winter is here, and Australia’s seasonal produce is at its prime. From hearty root vegetables to succulent citrus fruits, there’s a wealth of ingredients to be found in every region, and a growing number of restaurants are celebrating these local offerings with creative, plant-forward menus.
Get ready for delicious food with a playful twist, exploding with rich aromas, vibrant colours and flavours – here is our recommended list.
1. Yellow, Potts Point
When we think about showcasing the best seasonal produce, Yellow comes to mind immediately. This chic restaurant offers a 6-course vegan tasting menu that showcases the finest produce available each season, crafted carefully by Cheft Bren Savage.
This winter around, Yellow not only introduced a seasonal menu but also brought back their annual truffle dinner series. On the 26th and 27th of July only, guests can indulge in truffles with a menu that will feature premium produce, complemented by David Coomer’s rare black winter truffles.
Yellow is definitely on our must-visit list.
