Bet you’ve never had an art pop-up in your Penthouse…

Here to disrupt, delight and excite, Ovolo Hotels has collaborated with Melbourne contemporary art gallery MARS and Sydney based arts consultancy Soda Arts to offered guests and visitors alike the opportunity to discover Ovolo’s artistic side hands-on at The Woolstore 1888 by Ovolo.

Earlier this month, Ovolo Group’s oldest resident, The Woolstore 1888, opened its art filled historic doors to welcome a new generation of 21 contemporary Australian artists to display an eclectic mix of artwork and installations throughout The Woolstore 1888’s lobby and premier suites.

Appealing to Ovolo’s cheeky side, Sophia Hewson will challenge the perceptions of what it means to ‘be a lady’ through a short clip viewable from the ‘throne’, while Sydney based artist Grant Stewart captures the movements of this exhibition through a motion sensor live art mechanism using nothing more than a robotic device, code and the humble biro pen.
