Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) is all about style, beauty, and creativity that brings buyers, retailers, and celebrities together. And Ovolo is all over it, because we’re about the same. MBFWA is the perfect opportunity for our homegrown designers to showcase their collection on a global stage.

2018 saw renowned fashion siblings, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman kick off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia – and we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for us this year. The brands collection is known for the masculine tailoring with feminine silhouettes, directly inspired from naming-rights sponsor, Mercedes-Benz and their vehicles’ signature style.

This year, the dynamic duo and founder of Aje, Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris, will be opening MBFWA!

The label will kick off MBFWA on Sunday 12 May by revealing its resort collection in one of the fashion calendar’s most talked-about events of 2019.

Aje was created in 2008 to bridge the divide between urban and coastal style. Designed by best friends Adrian Norries and Edwina Robinson, the duo incorporates hand-made fabrics, delicate embellishments, and genuine prints into their collections – all inspired by the rugged beauty of their urban landscapes.

Aje focuses on raw beauty; wearers of Aje embody femininity and effortless cool and it’s not surprising this brand has been selected to lead the charge at MBFWA this week.

In addition to this, MBFWA attendees can expect a collection with the paintings of Brett Whiteley as muse. Whiteley is one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, whose distinctive style evokes lyrical sensuality with heavy dose of STUNNING.
