Who’s Laughing Now?
Walls in Bristol, UK & on trains! That’s where Banksy’s works began appearing back in the early 90’s. By the year 2000, his artwork was nationwide all over the UK. His controversial, political, and humorous displays have sparked conversations and have inspired people to think differently. Now, more than two decades later, he’s the world’s most famous street artist who challenges society’s views of fine art versus street art. Surprisingly, after all his activity, he has managed to keep his identity hidden and no one knows who he is!
This is Banksy’s first exhibition in Hong Kong and will showcase 27 of his pieces. It will include some of his unseen works in addition to some of his most famous material including Girl with Balloon, Laughing Now, and AP Gold. Public viewing for Banksy: Who’s Laughing Now? will run from November 17th to December 7th at Phillips Hong Kong Gallery.
