Mardi Gras Parade
The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade has taken place every year since it first began in 1978. This Saturday 5th of March, dress to impress in your brightest colours to watch the annual Mardi Gras Parade at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
This year’s theme: UNITED WE SHINE.

Gay-Libi at Alibi
Come for the glitter. Stay for the party. Live for the Queens.
Alibi Bar and Kitchen in Woolloomooloo is turning into Gay-libi for one night only! Offering bespoke cocktails, $99 bottles of champagne, lip sync Drag entertainment and an all night long DJ. Friday 4th of March, 5pm til late.

Queer Art After Hours
The Art Gallery of NSW proudly presents an after-hours showcase of colourful queer artistry. Discover the ground-breaking and the glamorous in an explosion of innovative performance art, installations, collection stories, music and gallery tours inspired by this year’s theme of UNITED WE SHINE.
It’s a night to choose your own art adventure – serving and sparkling till late.
Plus, it’s completely free to attend!

Create your own LGBTIQ+ film Festival experience with the latest and best queer films showing from the 17th of February till the 3rd of March.
Whether your genre of choice is Horror, Thriller, European, Asian, Comedy or Romance, the Mardi Gras Film Festival is showing it all.
Finale
It’s closing time and you don’t have to go home because Home the Venue is hosting the Mardi Gras closing party. Bring on hair of the dog and dance the night away alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 6 winner, Kylie Sonique Love.
