Celebrating Christmas in Bali

27 Celebrating Christmas in Bali

The most wonderful time of the year has come! And if you’re spending the holidays in Bali this year, consider yourself lucky! It may not be a white Christmas, but spending the festive season on this magical island is a Christmas gift in and of itself, as it is the perfect location to unwind during an often frantic time. And there are plenty of excellent ways to make the most of it. So keep on reading!

Merry shopping in Bali

Where better than Bali to do your last-minute Christmas shopping for all your beloved (or yourself 😉)? Bali is Indonesia’s unofficial art and handicrafts centre. From artisan villages with rustic handicraft stalls selling batik cloths, silver jewelries, natural soaps, aromatic oils, wooden carvings, and woven bags and baskets (and these are just a few of the things you’ll find!), to upscale boutiques and galleries, department stores, and factory outlets. It has it all! And the cheap prices just make shopping in Bali even more exciting.

There are several markets in the Ubud and Sukuwati districts that sell art, crafts, and other trinkets that make excellent presents. Meanwhile, Seminyak and Petitenget are great places to go shopping for luxury items. Canggu is known for its surf shops and chic boutiques, whereas Kuta and Denpasar are known for their large department stores. Dare tell us Bali is not a shopper’s paradise!

Christmas Celebration

Every establishment in Bali is getting all geared up for the holidays. The entire island will be celebrating Christmas in full swing, and you can be sure that every spot will have something special to offer.

Enjoy the balmy ocean breeze while gazing out over the warm, tranquil waters while drinking a tall, refreshing tropical cocktail (or two) at a beach club. Alternatively, take advantage of this perfect opportunity to unwind and soak festive spirit in the comfort of your resort. Relax by the pool or in your luxurious private room (link to book a room- https://ovolohotels.com/mamaka/), or go out for a Christmas brunch or buffet when it suits you – or have it delivered to your room via room service!

Enjoy Jingle Beats at Mamaka by Ovolo

This holiday season, Mamaka by Ovolo is bringing the good vibes back to Kuta!
