To Dine with Fine Wine is a guaranteed Good Food Time

It’s almost that time of the year again when Australia’s best local and international food and beverage purveyors come together under one roof to show off the industries latest and greatest offerings across one weekend. From Friday 31 May until Sunday 2 June, The Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show will open its doors to all foodies, winos and die-hard diners alike at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

With over 200 exhibitor’s goods to sample, live cooking demonstrations by Celebrity Chefs including Maggie Beer, Matt Moran and George Calombaris, along with a line-up of free and ticketed wine, whiskey and food masterclasses to test your palette, grab your foodie and boozy friends and get tasting! Tickets start at $24 AUD.

When all this food talk and tasting eventually leaves you hankering for a real meal, you’ll find some of Melbourne’s most delectable restaurant offerings at the Let’s Eat pop-up dining precinct. It is here where you’ll find your only challenge of the day – what to eat! A hefty task to complete after facing zero limitations in the Good Food Village. Ribs & Burgers will be serving up burgers (duh) and loaded fries, Red Spice Road and Burma Lane have come together to dish up what has been called ‘Melbourne’s best pork belly’, while Meat & Co bring their signature calamari and a mini tasting plate to the table.

At the end of the day when you feel like you just need to walk it off, Laneways By Ovolo is only a 30-minute stroll home. Plenty of time to work off the day’s delicacies before dropping into a food coma.

Get your tickets here and don’t forget to grab yourself a tasting cup!
