*Towels and linens will be replenished once per week with daily rubbish removal. Linen is the only thing that can leave the room. Everything else, including you must stay put for the duration of your quarantine period.

Xtra Spesh Add-ons

We want to make you comfortable, so added extras can be included in your room for a fee… Here’s a few examples — walking pad or exercise bike*, desk & chair, microwave, coffee machine.

*We are also happy to accept gym equipment prior to a guest arrival; all we ask for is a heads up on what is arriving, plus a $700 HKD delivery fee per item. These machines are quite heavy and fragile, therefore we need a bit of manpower to move them all in. This delivery fee will also include an air purifier rental, as the Department of Health requires air purifiers to be in use when guests utilise cardio exercise machinery. If you require this service, please advise us at least 10 days prior to your check-in date so we can ensure there is availability for your stay.

Obsessive Commitment to Deep Cleaning

At Ovolo, we always like a bit of good clean fun – but in light of recent events, we’ve upped the ante on our approach, so you can relax knowing you’re in good (thoroughly washed) hands.

And it goes without saying, Ovolo has always put the needs of our guests as our top priority and we continue to respect the COVID 19 Quarantine guidelines and social distancing restrictions and cleanliness to ensure all our guests are healthy and safe.

Earlier this year our Founder and CEO, Girish Jhunjhnuwala, personally announced The Ovolo Homecoming Project, an initiative dedicated to supporting returning Hong Kongers through the financial difficulties of a mandatory quarantine period.

As time has passed and rules and regulations changed, so are we. Now, we are delighted to be moving onto the second round of the initiative, and proudly partnering with Be The Change to help bring Hong Kongers home.

To get to this point, Ovolo has received an overwhelming amount of support not only from the people of Hong Kong, but also organizations who wish to help returning Hong Kongers as we do. That’s why we are also glad to say we have been collaborating with the following companies: Oxford University Press and Mindful Studios to further elevate your quarantine experience.

Terms & Conditions 

  • Offer valid for a limited time, subject to availability.
  • In the case of dispute, Ovolo Group reserves the right of final decision on the interpretation of these terms & conditions.
  • Ovolo Hotels is a non-smoking property. If the hotel is notified of a guest smoking within the rooms they will be liable for a penalty fee.
  • During the Designated Quarantine period, Bonvoy points are not available for accumulation as per our partnership with Design Hotels.

Cancellation Policy

  • Full charge is processed in order to secure your rate and booking. A refund is guaranteed if you cancel at least 15 days / 30 days (Connecting Rooms and Suites) prior to your check-in date. However, if you cancel within that period, Ovolo Hotels will be unable to refund your deposit. Further, any refund of payment made will incur a 3.5% bank administration fee.
  • Once you have checked in, you are required by the Department of Health to undergo the stipulated duration of your quarantine stays. If you do not, your entire stay is non-refundable.
  • If you do not show, the room will be released after the first night and full payment of the entire stay is charged.
  • If the guest tests positive for Coronavirus before boarding the flight and informs us immediately, only one night will be charged. If the guest tests positive before arrival or during the stay, the total charge is non-refundable.
  • In the case of flight changes by the airline (and supporting documents are provided), a complimentary amendment to the booking would be offered, dependant on the room and rate availability.
  • All bookings are non-transferable.

*Cancellation policies vary per booking, and the above is just for reference. Please refer back to your specific confirmation letter for the cancellation policy that applies for your booking.
