Hayes Theatre Co, named after musical theatre actress Nancye Hayes, first opened its doors in 2014 and has since hosted an array of award-winning productions. An intimate theatre with just 111 seats, Hayes Theatre, presents 8 – 10 mainstage productions annually, as well as a Cabaret season and one-off performances. Hayes Theatre is an intimate theatre with just 111 seats, complete with a foyer, bar and balcony space.
The raked auditorium can be accessed via a single door in the foyer, with just 12 steps leading to the back of the theatre. Rows A-H features 15 seats with a central aisle between seats 8 and 9. For those who have difficulty managing stairs, there is a lift between the theatre entrance and foyer with access to the auditorium via a side door on the balcony.
Located beside Potts Point and up the road from scenic Rushcutters Bay Park, Hayes Theatre is located at 19 Greenknowe Avenue in Elizabeth Bay.
