TQM Throws HK’s Grooviest Music Quiz

Hong Kong is no stranger to pub quizzes and karaoke nights, but the city has yet to see the ultimate experience that is the perfect marriage of both. That’s why Te Quiero Mucho have partnered with Sounds Familiar Music Quiz, UK’s number 1 music quiz for over 10 years, to bring a monthly music quiz like Hong Kong has never seen or played before. Sounds Familiar is the ‘sonic lovechild’ of an old school jukebox and the best party ever thrown!

Starting on 17 November 2021 from 7pm till late, a ticket to this rockin’ event is HK$800 for a table and it includes chips & salsa to share and either a pitcher of margaritas, a round of beers, or a bottle of wine. The a la carte menu will also be available all night for those who aren’t on a liquid diet.

Naturally, first, second, and third place winners on that night will walk away with amazing prizes. First place winners will win a bottle of magnum champagne on the night sponsored by Ovolo’s friends at Perrier-Jouët, as well as a Festive Dinner meal at Te Quiero Mucho, second place winners will win Champagne Brunch at Veda, and third place winners will win High Chai at Veda. The prizes are given just in time for the festive season in December, which should be celebrated with good friends and good food. Although other tables may not receive prizes, they definitely can still expect a fun-filled night of booze, food, and great music (and perhaps a few shots warm up the vocal cords).

If guests aren’t able to make it on 17 November, there’s no need to fret as this will be a regular monthly event. The next will be on 16 December 2021, with future dates for 2022 being announced and shared on Ovolo Hotel’s Hong Kong Instagram account @ovolohotels_hk and Te Quiero Mucho’s Instagram @tqmhk. Guests should follow the account to stay updated on their latest promotions and events.
