Fortitude Valley’s Newest Hotel – REMIX HOTEL

For one weekend only, a reimagined music and lifestyle festival experience is dropping in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley – REMIX HOTEL – brought to you by Ovolo The Valley and XR events. From Friday 9 October to Sunday 11 October, check-in for a transformative festival weekend featuring exclusive international DJ sets, broadcasted live from London, Manchester to Ibiza, alongside live local artist performances, from artfully curated and COVID-safe spaces within the hotel.

Down the REMIX HOTEL rabbit hole, guests will experience over 16 artist live streams from the luxury of their hotel room or curated entertainment spaces, complete with VIP seating, across the hotel’s whimsical spaces and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Bar & Kitchen, ZA ZA TA. The Golden Lounge will play host to live vocal performances, while the entire venue is set to feature a installation created by Georgia Pinn (an internationally renowned creator of projections, holograms and multimedia) throughout.

This creative collision of sound and art, merging the physical and virtual world at designer hotel Ovolo The Valley, has been carefully curated to be a celebration and cultural response in support of the arts. A COVID-safe festival experience to immerse yourself in for one long weekend of festival fun from within Fortitude Valley’s whimsical oasis of Ovolo The Valley.

REMIX HOTEL comes to Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley born from a response to lockdown, at a pivotal time for both the arts industry and club-music-loving public. The weekend’s festivities will run in line with a strict COVID-safe plan to allow absolute safety of REMIX HOTEL festival goers and maximum flexibility of musical and dining options. ZA ZA TA kitchen and bar will transport guests to experience the soulful vibe of Tel Aviv, while Sunset Sessions Poolside will let guests reach max relax status this October at REMIX HOTEL.
