Festive Season Under One Roof in Paradise!
As we are only days away from the year-end holiday, Kuta’s vibrant and stylish urban resort, MAMAKA by Ovolo, invites island inhabitants and visitors to indulge in a fun-filled festive season at the Kuta boutique resort, where they’ve curated a series of cheerful celebrations, thrilling activities and sumptuous feasts. And let’s not forget to head up to the roof where the premiere rooftop pool club under MAMAKA by Ovolo takes place – Kuta Social Club.
Ovolo Hotel’s Bali based collective, MAMAKA by Ovolo encourages guests to celebrate the festive season how it should be: a smorgasbord of tantalising food, fun activities, sharing heartfelt moments and good vibrations with family, friends and loved ones. Kicking off on Sunday, 18 December 2022 until Saturday, 31 December 2022, the festivities at MAMAKA will be an end-of-year experience to remember.

When it comes to the festive season, it usually consists of a lot of feasting and drinking so to ensure guests experience a balanced holiday, MAMAKA has curated an array of daily wellness programmes to keep guests active during their stay. From 18 to 31 December, in-house guests and gym members can participate in the wellness programmes. Guests can also use the resort’s bicycles to stroll around and explore the Kuta neighbourhood.
Cinema Under the Stars
Catering guests with the festive movie night tradition, join MAMAKA’s rooftop movie night and re-watch some of the all-time favourite movies as you munch on finger foods and cocktails. Do not miss the fun with our home-made popcorn as well. We will be screening holiday classics from 18 to 31 December.
Family Friendly Activities
Certainly not to miss, the family-friendly activities such as Mamaka Magic with our magicians anywhere and anytime around Mamaka, as well as Bring Out the Chef in You – learn how the island’s classic desserts are prepared by our culinary rockstars. Don’t worry, they are easy-to-follow recipes. All day and all night, beats will be playing around the hotel as well, cheering the holiday season.
Kuta Social Club
At Kuta Social Club the events will take place from December 18 to 31 and will coincide with the venue’s stunning new open-fire kitchen and adjoining menu. From 18 to 23 December, and again from 26 to 29 December, Chef’s Social Counter will take place from 6pm onwards, a 10-course dinner dreamt up by executive chef Ben Harrington.
On Christmas Eve – 24 December, you can toast to Kuta’s sunset while enjoying a spot of live music with Jazz into Sunset, joined by Mediterranean cuisine. The event will take place from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
On Christmas Day itself from 11am to 3pm there’s a special family-style brunch – Christmas Brunch, a feast for the ages which will see plates piled high with locally sourced seafood, premium charcoal-grilled tomahawk steak and plenty more. The family-friendly event promises plenty to entertain the kids too and will include a special guest appearance by Santa.
Celebrations continue well into the new year, with Kuta Social Club offering Dine into The New Year, taking place on the 31 December. An exclusive dinner will be hosted from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, where love and plenty of Champagne can be shared before the countdown. Or lean into the chance to say goodbye to 2022 in style with Kuta Social Club’s Cheers into 2023 which kicks off at 10.30pm, when the party starts. An electrifying evening is planned to involve live music, DJs, fire and LED dancers, stilt walkers, water drummers and more, all within arm’s reach of lively Kuta Beach.
