The Indonesian government has already announced that Visa on Arrival is available for 42 nationalities who can enter Bali – Indonesia for tourism purposes. These nationalities are Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Canada, China, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Swiss, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherlands, Philippines, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, and Vietnam.

If your country is not on the list, you will need the B211 Tourist e-Visa to enter Bali.

Is there any fee for Visa on Arrival?

Visa on Arrival fee is priced at IDR 500,000 per person, and applies to adults and children. The payment is made upon arrival and can be paid with Cash in Indonesian Rupiahs or any other foreign currency (we suggest USD, SGD and/or AUD), and Visa or Mastercard.

Preparation in the country of origin

  • Passport validity minimum 6 months.
  • Return flight ticket (or one way + outward journey from Bali).
  • You need to be fully vaccinated (minimum twice) with WHO authorized vaccinations, and the 2nd vaccination must have been given at least 2 weeks prior to departure (except for 1 x COVID-19 vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson, Sputnik V or Convidecia, other conditions apply).
  • 48 hours negative PCR test from country origin.  Covid-19 travel insurance.
  • Proof of paid booking accommodation for 4 days and 3 nights (minimum) in the CHSE-certified hotels or villas in Bali. Here’s the official CHSE-certified hotels list

Steps upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport

  • Body temperature check (maximum 38° Celsius).  Proceed to check all the documentation such as Covid-19 health insurance, RT-PCR laboratory negative result and vaccine certificate.
  • First RT-PCR swab at the airport with the cost of IDR 275,000 – you can wait for the results at your hotel. You can book online for the test on this website.
  • Immigration clearance.
  • Baggage claim, custom process and transfer to the hotel and you need to wait in your room for your RT-PCR test result.

P.S. Don’t worry, the ground staff at the Ngurah Rai International Airport will be super helpful to help you with everything! Don’t hesitate to ask for their help with anything.

If your RT-PCR result comes out negative, you can proceed with your itineraries.

However, if your RT-PCR result comes out positive, you must isolate in the hotel or a centralised isolation facility for those who only got asymptomatic or mild symptoms, while those who feel moderate or severe symptoms and/or with uncontrolled comorbidities must be isolated in the Covid-19 referral hospital.

3 days after your arrival in Bali, you will be required to undergo another RT-PCR with a negative result, so you may continue your adventure in Bali. If you tested positive, you would require self-isolation in the hotel or referral hospital. If you’re staying at Mamaka, don’t be shy to ask the Rockstars team to organise your RT-PCR test.

After all, just enjoy your holiday in Bali and explore all things the island has to offer. Remember to always wear your mask, maintain physical distancing and download PeduliLindungi app (available on AppStore & PlayStore) to enter any public areas in Bali.

Please make sure that you are tested by the affiliated laboratories so that the results will be directly connected to the PeduliLindungi app.
