Ovolo is host to some of the world\u2019s most loved designer hotels \u2013 everywhere from the 24\/7 bustle of Hong Kong to the chic laneways of inner city Melbourne. While they\u2019re all part of the Ovolo family, each still retains its own unique personality and style, inspired by the local surrounds, culture and heritage \u2013 and we couldn\u2019t have done it alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ovolo have collaborated with experts in the industry to create the experience that is Ovolo Melbourne, South Yarra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A place where retro chic and pop art collide, the hotel is home to 123 rooms, Lona Misa Bar & Eatery with surprise and delights at every turn. To transport every guest to the days of disco, emulate the rock gods and retro glamour, we needed an entire backstage posse to capture a vibe that is bold, creative and unpredictable. Designed with long-term collaborators of the designer hotel group, and new ones, specifically sought out to support Melbourne businesses on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glam seventies disco grooves spin within the walls of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ovolo Melbourne,\u00a0<\/span><\/span> South Yarra<\/span><\/span>\u00a0where Pop Art elements are spliced with contemporary installations by a fleet of local and international artists.<\/p>\n

Designed by interior design firm, Luchetti Krelle, graphic\u00a0<\/span><\/span>wallpaper, gleaming<\/span><\/span>\u00a0chrome, plush pattern-heavy furnishings and bold primal hues grant the hotel with a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>heady<\/span><\/span>\u00a0dose of rock \u2019n\u2019 roll anarchy spritzed with futuristic jet-set flair.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Pomeroy Pacific worked collaboratively with Ovolo and Argo as the developer to facilitate the commercial deal and bring the project vision to life from conception to project delivery.<\/p>\n

Bernie Tan-Hayes, CEO APAC and Head of AV and Technology drew inspiration from Luchetti Krelle\u2019s retro inspired pattern and the throwback to golden era of 8-bit arcade games<\/span>, with\u00a0<\/span>hope it brings joy to the guests and visitors<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0remind<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0them of a simpler lower resolution world.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
